Understanding VRM in Modern Computing

VRM, or Voltage Regulator Module, is a crucial component in modern computer hardware that ensures stable and efficient power delivery to the processor and other vital components. Located on the motherboard, the VRM is responsible for converting the higher voltage supplied by the power supply unit into the lower, precise voltage required by the CPU and GPU. Without a reliable VRM, a system may experience instability, overheating, or unexpected shutdowns, especially during high-performance tasks such as gaming, video editing, or data processing.
